| The CMD6 sports a spacious, positive LCD display that scrolls two lines of information. The CMS1 scrolls a single line. The CMV1 features a 3.5” color TFT display that can be clearly viewed in direct sunlight. All three units are designed with a USB port that enables easy connection to portable devices such as iPods™, MP3 Players, and flash drives. Exceptional sound clarity and definition are achieved through advanced BBE® MP sound enhancement/restoration software on the CMV1 and CMD6. Both source units are designed for simple and intuitive operation—directly from the unit or via an IR remote control (included) or an optional wired remote control. |

All four watertight controllers can be operated by the Clarion MW1, a round, wired remote control that features a 2-line display, an IR eye and a stainless steel bezel. They also can be controlled by the Clarion MW2, a non-display version of the MW1, or by the Clarion MW3, a rectangular version of the MW1.
The CMV1 and CMD6 are ideal for multi-zone systems, or where independent zones are to be integrated or connected. Both units feature fixed audio outputs that enable control of volume in each listening area independent of the source unit. Dual auxiliary inputs enable isolated connection of multiple audio devices. Sensitivity can be selected to match output volume between these devices.
The CMV1, CMD6, CMD7 and CMS1 all feature a one-year memory backup which ensures that settings (such as channel pre-sets) are retained in the event of a power interruption or during seasonal storage

| Superior reliability is the hallmark of Clarion’s watertight controllers—the result of rigorous environmental testing (ASTM B117 salt spray, D4329 UV, IPX5 water ingress). Further protection from the elements is provided by hinged terminal caps that seal the RCA connections and USB port of the CMV1, CMD6 and CMS1. The circuit boards of all three controllers are conformal-coated. The electronics of the CMV1 and CMD6 are further protected by a 316 stainless steel chassis. |
