With the right connectors, the ubiquitous iPod™ can easily be enjoyed on the patio or on the water with a variety of Clarion source units.
Although the CMV1, CMD6, and M309 units work directly with an iPod, some units require an interface. The CCAIPOD is designed to operate the iPod™ through a CMD5 and M475 source unit. This accessory enables control over playback features and provides access to play lists. Track and artist information from the iPod™ appear on the source unit’s display.
The CCUIPOD2 is used to connect the iPod™ to the CMS1 and the CCUIPOD3 connects to the VZ300 source unit.
When entertainment plans call for video, connecting an iPod to a Clarion CMV1, VX400 or VX400 is easily done with the CCA748 connector. Just plug and play.
Clarion’s CCAUSB is designed to extend the USB port of a CMV1, CMD6, and M309 to a convenient location for iPod hook-up.
All of Clarion’s iPod™ interfaces ensure that the iPod™ battery is charged while in use. |
