Capabilities and Services


Product Design Research and Development

Our product development team designs a whole range of products that includes speakers, source units, power amplifiers, remote controls and accessories.  Rapid prototyping is achieved from our advanced 3-D printer.

 

 

 

Many of the products produced by Marine Audio are co-developed with our suppliers.  Product development teams, representing Marine Audio and our suppliers, determine features, functions, design, manufacture ability and production schedules.
  Environmental Testing

 

 

Temperature and Humidity Tolerances of prototype and production components are thoroughly tested and verified prior to sale and distribution.

Adherence to ASTM specification D4329 for ultraviolet resistance is validated through our advanced accelerated weathering test equipment.

 


The ability of key parts and components to withstand the corrosive effects of salt spray to ASTM B117 specification is ensured by rigorous testing in our corrosion chamber.

Watertight products are certified to meet or exceed IPX5 standards for water intrusion.


Installation Audits
Marine Audio technicians inspect and certify installations at manufacturing facilities across the nation. Detailed reports and plant-based training accompany each audit to ensure that the performance of Marine Audio products always delights and satisfies customers.
 


Technical & Warranty Support
Marine Audio personnel operate a toll free hotline during regular business hours.  Trained and certified by ABYC, APSP and MECP, these professionals are an invaluable resource to consumers, dealers, retailers and OEMs for trouble shooting, system operation, and warranty administration.

Acoustic Engineering Seminars

Our engineers conduct field-based training on acoustical principles to their counterparts in product development.  This helps ensure that sound acoustical principles are applied to maximize performance of our products in specific customer applications.

Service and Sales Schools

Marine Audio technical sales professionals conduct on-site training for our customers’ service and sales personnel.  Topics range from product knowledge, to installation and trouble shooting with plenty of Q&A.
 
  Marketing & Advertising
Marine Audio’s in-house marketing department creates and produces a whole host of communications on behalf of our suppliers and customers, including trade ads, videos, product images, catalogs and instructional materials.
